A Challenge

Missy and I are excited about working with Wycliffe Bible Translators, which has taken up the challenge of translating God’s Word into the heart languages of those 350 million people without it. It sounds impossible, but nothing is impossible for God!

1 Peter 4:10-11 says “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administrating God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.” (NIV)

Bible translation requires team work. God is using ordinary people like you and I to accomplish this task. He is using teachers to train nationals in translation techniques. He is using carpenters to build homes for translation teams. He is using aircraft mechanics to 50th - Bible childkeep the airplanes in top condition. He is using secretaries to keep the paperwork in order. But you know what keeps all these people in their roles? People like you who regularly pray for them and support them financially. You are the backbone.

If God is speaking to you about a deeper involvement in the work of Bible translation we would love to hear from you. If you sense the Lord is calling you to partner with us through prayer, encouragement or financial support, please click here to let us know how God is leading you to be involved.

Together we can help bring God’s Word to those in PNG who are still waiting.
