Will you pray?

There is no way we'd attempt to undertake this ministry without the backing of our prayer partners.  Anything done for Christ is done against Satan's agenda.  Our efforts to further God's Kingdom are opposed by Satan, so we can expect opposition.  We depend on prayer partners to intercede on our behalf for God's protection, wisdom and strength as we fight "against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world".  (Ephesians 6:12)

Would you like to join our team of prayer warriors?  We'll be posting current prayer requests and answers to prayer on this page.  Look how God has already answered prayer....

January 8--We’ll be heading to the Pacific Orientation Course on January 23.  Pray for us as we pack up, clean house and prepare for another move.
  • March 13--We're back in Ukarumpa in our "new home" having successfully graduated from the 6-week Pacific Orientation Course.  It was a faith stretching and physically demanding time, but we thank God for the opportunity to brush up on our Tok Pisin language skills, learn about PNG and its culture, and walk in the shoes of our Papua New Guinean friends and colleagues.
March 13--Please pray that our belongs (that came by ship) would be processed through customs, and make the journey from the port city to Ukarumpa quickly and safely.  Claire and Isaiah are eager to be reunited with their toys, and we are in need of a number household items and documents that we shipped.
  • April 6-- The rest of our belongings (sent by sea freight) arrived at our home this week.  We celebrated a joyful reunion with favorite toys, tools, and my fuzzy robe.

Current prayer needs:

April 22--The Maiwa New Testament was dedicated this week.  Praise God that another 1400+ people in PNG now have God's Word in their heart language!  Pray that God would transform the lives of those who read this newly completed/dedicated New Testament.

April 22-- Jon has taken on the role of shop foreman in the aviation department.  Please pray for wisdom in leading the maintenance team to get the work done efficiently.
